Spring 2017 Class Schedule -
All times are Eastern Standard Time, United States of America. :) All classes below are 1 semester with 16 class sessions. All 1-hour classes meeting once per week re $135/subject; 1-hour classes meeting twice per week are $250.
The following courses will begin the week of January 8th. No classes will be held the week of April 9th for spring break. The final 16th week of classes will begin April 29 and end on May 5th. The schedule may shift into the week of May 7th if we need to complete any makeup days.
Classes need a minimum of 4 students to run but will contain no more than 9 students total. :)

TUESDAY & THURSDAY CLASS DESCRIPTIONS ~
World History Tuesdays & Thursdays, 2-3pm EST, January 10th, 2017 - May 4th, 2017. Spring tuition for 16 weeks / 32 classes: $250 (twice per week) Picking up from the Industrial Age, we'll explore 1) the shaping of the modern world; 2) civilizations in crisis from 1880s to 1945; and 3) the contemporary world from 1945 through the present. Using an interactive online classroom, we’ll meet twice weekly to discuss, share information and work on group activities. Students will engage in independent projects which will be shared virtually. FRIDAY CLASS DESCRIPTIONS ~
Forensic Science Fridays, 11-12noon EST, January 13th, 2017 - May 5th, 2017. Spring tuition for 16 weeks: $135 Focusing on the sciences used to assist in crime-solving, our second semester will focus on physical and biological evidence and historical and modern case studies. Independent study may include virtual laboratories. No prerequisites. Global Nutrition Fridays, 1:30-2:30pm EST, January 13th, 2017 - May 5th, 2017. Spring tuition for 16 weeks: $135 Focusing on a global perspective, students will explore different cultural and international diets, connections between global diets and a variety of diseases, food issues such as food security, food safety, and food as a tool in war. We'll also look more in depth at the water crisis and potential solutions. Personal nutrition knowledge is helpful but not required. Contact Sherri at [email protected] to register!
